Maxim’s corporate office is currently seeking a Legal Nurse Consultant to assist with updating clinical policy and procedure manuals.  The ideal candidate will have a solid clinical background paired with legal research experience to review, modify and revise existing material.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Review and advise on clinical policies and procedures throughout the organization
* Review medical documents related to legal matters and summarize them for Counsel
* Provide support to the Legal Department
* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

* Paralegal certificate preferred, but not required; 5 – 7 years experience
* RN degree with 5 – 7 years experience
* Ability to work independently with little supervision.
* Excellent organizational, verbal, and written skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines with consistently high-quality work product in a collegial and fast-paced environment.
* Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all areas and levels of the organization and outside counsel.
