Description
Provides nursing care and services to patients/families. Provides direction to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and nursing assistive personnel. Delegates nursing care according to according to legal and regulatory guidelines/statutes and organizational policies. Utilizes reasonable judgment in carrying out prescribed medical orders of a practitioner. Functions as primary nurse/total patient caregiver. Serves as resource nurse. Acts as preceptor and takes charge duties as assigned.

Position Summary
This position provides general nursing care to patients and families along the health illness continuum in diverse health care settings while collaborating with the health care team. He/She is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
Minimum Qualifications
Current registered nurse license from the State of Ohio. Knowledge in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. BLS certification.

This is a full-time (36 hour), night shift position.

Legal Nurse Investigator III/SR (Nurse-Law Enforcement)

Investigator III/SR (Nurse-Law Enforcement) is responsible for the identification, investigation and development of complex cases against perpetrators of fraud in order to recover corporate and client funds paid on fraudulent claims, utilizing FBI and other law enforcement resources, and state of the art investigation techniques. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Responsible for enterprise-wide specific investigations that may impact more than one WellPoint health plan. Must be able to effectively establish rapport and on-going work relationship with FBI and District Attorney office. Will interface internally with Senior level management and legal department. Must have experience in complex, high dollar white collar and/or healthcare investigations required.
